Our Warranty
A window is only as good as the promise behind it.
Anyone can quote a low price on a replacement window; far fewer will still be answering the phone about it in fifteen years. Complete Windows & Doors has been installing in Barrie and Simcoe County since 2012, and the warranty below is the one we have to live with every time a customer calls. It covers the product, the labour and the workmanship, and it is serviced by our own team rather than handed off to a call centre.
What Our Warranty Covers
Our windows and doors are backed by a 25-year warranty on materials, labour and workmanship. That last word matters: many warranties cover the product but stop at the installation, which is where most real-world problems actually start.
Coverage includes the sealed glass units, the vinyl frames and sashes, the hardware and moving parts, and the installation itself. Warranties are fully transferable at no additional cost, so the coverage follows the house if you sell it - which is worth something at closing.
Siding we install carries its manufacturer's lifetime warranty, also transferable.

The Detail
Coverage begins on the date your installation is completed and applies to the original installation address. It covers defects in the products we supply and in the work we carry out.
Like every warranty, it does not cover everything. Damage from impact, storm, fire, settlement or building movement is not covered, and neither is deliberate damage or alteration of the units after installation. Painting, staining or modifying a frame will affect coverage. Ordinary maintenance - keeping tracks, weep holes and hardware clean - remains the homeowner's responsibility, and condensation caused by high indoor humidity is a ventilation issue rather than a product fault.
Products supplied but not installed by us carry their manufacturer's warranty only.
Why It Matters Who Stands Behind It
A warranty is only worth as much as the company holding it. We have been locally owned and operated since 2012, we are A+ accredited with the Better Business Bureau, and we are fully insured and WSIB covered.
When something needs attention, the person who comes out works for us. There is no dealer network to navigate and no argument about whether the problem is the product or the installation, because we are responsible for both.
